80 Vecchie Vigne D.O.C Primitive of Manduria

Our grapes are harvested by hand between the end of August and the first days of September, from vineyards raised in Alberello Pugliese: small trees in their own right, which belong to the Mediterranean culture. The production is around 800 g per plant.

Aging in medium toasted French oak barriques for a period of about twelve months, after which it is aged in the bottle for another 4 months

Very intense color with fruity hints of raspberry, black currant and undergrowth aromas, wrapped in a sweet note of ripe cherry associated with hints of chocolate, coconut and coffee. The taste is rich and very concentrated with spicy and fruity notes, enhanced by a consistent presence of very sweet tannins. With a long and persistent aftertaste, it adapts well to long aging in the bottle.

Great roasts, braised meats, game and aged cheeses. It should be served at 16-18° C
